"For that price, I could purchase TWO identical dolls directly from China" — we still sometimes hear this.
People go on AliExpress and see supposedly the same dolls, but twice as cheap. They place their order and start waiting. After 1–2 months, they receive their doll — but it's nothing like what they ordered.

Why Does This Happen?
Reason 1: Chinese Legislation
The legal system in the PRC doesn't care about violating laws in another country. By deceiving you, the seller faces no consequences in China. For goods over £500, the seller can demand a return to their warehouse for "technical inspection" at your own expense — around £300–400 for shipping.

Reason 2: Pricing Reality
A quality TPE doll requires 30–40 kg of material at £14/kg, plus oil, antifungal additives, dyes, deodorants, a metal skeleton at £40–80, sculptor and artist work, logistics, and factory profit. Simple maths shows a sex doll cannot cost less than £800–1,000.

Our advice: Always pay attention to where the seller's company is registered. If it's your country or a closely linked country, such a seller will bear full responsibility.
