Height affects realism more than any other single specification. A 170cm doll has adult proportions, a longer torso and limbs, and a more natural standing silhouette. It also fits standard clothing sizes, which makes dressing easier and more convincing.

For display in a dedicated room, a tall doll is the most striking option. For frequent handling, it is the most demanding.

Expect 35–45kg depending on material and build. Silicone is denser than TPE, and gel-filled options add more. A 170cm silicone doll can be close to the weight of a person, which changes how you lift, move and store it.

If you will move the doll regularly, consider a TPE body, a hollow-bust option or a shorter height. If the doll will stay in one place, the extra weight is less of an issue.

Tall dolls fit standard adult clothing, which is a major practical advantage. Look for stretch fabrics and avoid tight, heavily dyed garments that can stain TPE. Standing feet and a strong skeleton make display poses more reliable.

Check the doll's shoulder width and hip measurements before buying clothing. Height alone does not guarantee a standard fit, especially on stylised or game-character sculpts.

A 170cm doll needs a space at least 175cm long to lie flat and enough height to stand supported. A dedicated closet, spare room or storage bench works well. Avoid attics and garages with extreme temperatures.

If space is limited, a 165cm doll is noticeably easier to manage than a 175cm model while still reading as tall.
